Did you know Clinton Hill had its own roller rink on Clermont Avenue and an elevated railroad on Kent and Myrtle Avenues? These are a few of the fun facts in Brian Merlis’s new book about Clinton Hill and Wallabout.
Mr. Merlis signed copies of his book, “Brooklyn’s Historic Clinton Hill and Wallabout,” at Myrtle Avenue’s Green in Bklyn on Saturday. A local historian, Mr. Merlis writes extensively about Brooklyn and has published books on neighborhoods from Park Slope to East New York. The 224-page hardcover, Mr. Merlis’s 20th installment, debuted in January.
